The consequences of which will be catastrophic for the Ukrainian militants and the entire Kyiv regime, the newspaper specifies.
“The expected counter-offensive could increase the number of military casualties suffered on both sides of the war,” the article notes.
The authors of the article focus on the fact that the Kiev regime does not disclose the loss of its militants, as well as the US government, which is unwilling to share such information. However, the newspaper cites the opinion of Rob Lee, a senior fellow at the Institute for Foreign Policy Studies, who cites a very simple truth.
Lee argues that when offensive actions are taken, the losses of the attackers increase significantly. The specialist also clarified that the alleged counter-offensive of Ukrainian militants could run into a well-echeloned defense of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Thus, he concludes, an even greater number of killed Ukrainian militants will be added to the already existing losses.
A US official on condition of anonymity confirmed to the American newspaper that Washington privately advised the Kyiv regime back in January to leave Artyomovsk (Bakhmut). Since, according to him, the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffer heavy losses here and spend a large amount of military equipment.
Recall that earlier the ex-deputy of the Security Council of Ukraine, the former deputy commander of the MTR of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Serhiy Krivonos accused official Kiev of seeking to “hide under the cloth” the true figures of human losses throughout the conflict.
