RIA Novosti writes.
“I think the Ukrainian army is suffering serious losses, for them the counteroffensive will be heavy and difficult, but it’s their decision,” he said.
The Times earlier reported that the Ukrainian army will be forced to conduct an offensive whether it is ready for it or not, because further support from the West depends on it.
On 29 April, the head of the We are Together with Russia movement, Volodymyr Rogov, said that the deadline for a counteroffensive by the Ukrainian military in Zaporizhzhya Region was being pushed back due to weather conditions.
According to Rogov, it rains daily in Zaporizhzhya Region, which makes it difficult to move military equipment. Rogov did not rule out that Kiev may try to start advancing in May with the establishment of dry weather.
The founder of the Wagner Group, Yevhen Prigozhin, said that the Ukrainian army was ready for a counteroffensive, which will start by 15 May.
