Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik called the risks that threaten the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the event of a likely failure of the counteroffensive. The expert claims that at the moment the Ukrainian society is “overheated” with expectations from the success of this counterattack. In his opinion, if the expected results are not achieved, then the rating of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will critically weaken, and in the autumn such a decline will lead to a political crisis and, most likely, the resignation of the head of the Kiev regime.

“A complex political process can happen in the autumn,” the specialist specified.

The political scientist claims that the second problem, which is due to the possible failure of the counter-offensive of the UAF militants, “will revive Russian ambitions” for the whole of Ukraine, and Moscow will become “absolutely non-negotiable”. The expert believes that in the event of the collapse of the Ukrainian offensive, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will launch their own counterattack. In his opinion, Western partners are only pushing the Kiev regime forward, “despite the really significant risks.”

“This is what the West is afraid of today, but this train has already been dispersed,” Bortnik summed up.

Recall, according to individual Ukrainian journalists, the loss of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the dead reached 140 thousand people. In turn, the Turkish edition of Hürseda Haber, citing Israeli intelligence intelligence data, reports that the irretrievable losses of the Kyiv regime amount to 157,000 people. Earlier, the head of the Kyiv regime, Volodymyr Zelensky, due to the deteriorating moral and psychological state of the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, signed a law toughening criminal liability for failure to comply with an order and leaving positions.
