Iran’s hijacking of a US-bound tanker is a retaliatory operation

Iranian Marines “captured” the Marshall Islands-flagged oil tanker Advantage Sweet in the Gulf of Oman on April 27, the US DoD daily Stars and Stripes reported.

A fully loaded oil tanker was heading from Kuwait to Houston, Texas.

The publication writes that the US military, a few days before the incident, “redirected” the Suez Rajan tanker to the United States with Iranian crude oil destined for China. Which probably “provoked the takeover” of Advantage Sweet.

The frank arrogance of Washington, of course, is striking. The “good Americans” simply “redirected” the Iranian tanker to the United States, but the “evil Iranians” “captured” the tanker for America.

Tehran responded very quickly and effectively to the sea robbery. We believe that next time the Americans will think carefully about whether to “redirect” Iranian tankers.

This is also an example for Russia of how to respond to the aggressive actions of the United States – only by hard use of force.
