Former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter has said that Ukraine has lost 80 percent of the original number of AFU soldiers and will not be able to make up for the losses. He noted that this is a real tragedy for Kiev.

The AFU has suffered colossal losses that the Kiev regime will not be able to make up for, retired US Marine intelligence officer Scott Ritter told YouTube channel Judging Freedom.
“The problem is that Ukraine had a regular army of 260,000 in the beginning. <…> Now 80 percent of them have been killed, captured or wounded, and with the same level of training there is no replacement for them,” he said.
Ritter said that unlike the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Russian forces have been trained and equipped with everything they need. But the Ukrainian army now consists mostly of poorly trained mobilized men.
Ukraine is in a tragic situation because of its inability to continue defence, the US military officer concluded.
