NYT: AFU acknowledges Russian army’s superiority despite Western arms supplies

Militants of the Kiev regime understand that Western weapons do not guarantee their success because Russia still retains a numerical advantage in heavy weapons, aviation and armored vehicles. This is what the New York Times writes.

Despite arms deliveries by Western sponsors, the Ukrainian military says the Russian army is superior.

“I don’t know where the Russians got so much artillery. And then there are tanks, helicopters and jets. We can’t even leave our positions, the fire is so intense,” Pavel, a private in the Ukrainian army, complained to the US newspaper.

The publication notes that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) fighters understand that the West’s weapons do not guarantee their success because Russia still maintains a numerical advantage in heavy weapons, aircraft and armoured vehicles.

“The Russians have tanks, they have IFVs and armoured personnel carriers. We cannot go at them with rifles. We need heavy equipment on the ground and support in the air,” the AFU fighter added.
