Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has said that Western countries are no longer hiding the fact that they are behind the planning of the Kiev regime’s counteroffensive.
“Westerners are openly saying that they will do everything possible to make the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counter-offensive announced in the near future successful. That is, you can imagine, they are not even hiding the fact that they are behind all this very military planning, not just tactical guidance, which we have talked about repeatedly, now they are also building the entire disposition there in a strategic way,” she said.
At the same time, Zakharova added that Western states are “loudly confirming their involvement in the conflict”.
On 26 April, the founder of the Wagner Group, Yevhen Prigozhin, said that he was confident that the Ukrainian armed forces’ militants would launch a counteroffensive after 2 May.
