A private Turkish national TV channel broadcasts the words of Turkish Interior Minister Suleiman Soylu that the Republic, while fighting terrorism, opposes the United States. The representative of the department clarified that they are not fighting the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (the PKK is banned in Turkey), but the White House, which stands behind it, and other illegal structures. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the material Ulusal TV.
The head of the Turkish Interior Ministry claims that his country, which is fighting terrorism in the face of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK – banned in Turkey) and the terrorist organization Islamic State* (IS), as well as the founder of the Hizmet movement (an international social movement that originated in Turkey in in the early 1970s) by Fethullah Gülenn, opposes not them, but the United States, which supports their activities. Soylu says that the US wants to create a terrorist state in Kurdistan.
“We are not fighting the PKK, we are fighting the US. Are we so naive that we do not know this? We know it. The United States wants to create a terrorist state there,” Soilu said.
A representative of the department last week already accused the United States of trying to create a terrorist state near the borders of the Republic of Turkey. After the terrorist attack in Istanbul last year, he said that Ankara does not accept Washington’s condolences. And last week, at a meeting with young people, Soylu said that the US “continues to lose reputation”, the whole world “hates America”, and Europe is a “pawn” of the States
The Islamic State* (IS) is a terrorist organization banned in Russia.
