The Russian army has begun using T-14 Armata tanks in the zone of a special military operation in Ukraine. It is known that these tanks have not yet taken part in assault operations.

“Russian troops have begun using the latest Armata tanks to fire on Ukrainian positions. They have not yet participated in direct assault actions”, the agency notes.

It is specified that the Armata tanks received additional side protection from anti-tank ammunition. The agency reports that since the end of last year, tank crews have been training at training grounds in one of the people’s republics of Donbass.
