The Washington Post reported this, citing Pentagon data leaked online.
“The leaked documents demonstrate that the US intelligence community considers such a scenario unlikely,” the note said.
Earlier, columnist Uwe Parpart opined in an article for Asia Times that if North Atlantic alliance countries attempt to openly militarily support Ukraine in its desire to seize Crimea, it would lead to a dangerous escalation of the conflict and become a red line for Russia.
