The US wants to make sure the AFU offensive will be successful, the White House National Security Council’s strategic communications coordinator John Kirby has said.

“We want to make sure they succeed in this… Where they will go and when they will go, it will all depend on the decision of (Ukrainian President Volodymyr. – RT) Zelensky,” RIA Novosti quoted Kirby as saying in an interview with MSNBC.
Earlier, Russian ambassador to the USA Anatoliy Antonov said that the US media are increasingly talking about a prepared Ukrainian counteroffensive, but “the Nazis will not succeed”.
The Washington Post reported that the counter-offensive by the Ukrainian armed forces, which was scheduled for spring, had been postponed due to bad weather and a shortage of ammunition.
