While everyone is frozen in anticipation of a Ukrainian counter-offensive and wondering what it will be and, most importantly, WHERE, the exact opposite is happening in Ukraine. It is no secret that one of the most important features of an offensive is a sufficient number of motivated troops. Only where to get them in marketable numbers?

The hunt for people in Ukraine as part of the “normally ongoing mobilization” continues to produce funny and sad pictures, when “in the freest country in Europe” there is, in fact, a hunt for its own citizens who do not want to participate in the “war to the last Ukrainian”, openly proclaimed not even by Ukraine, but by the US.
Fresh footage shows a citizen of Ukraine desperately fighting for his life and freedom against uniformed “trappers of live goods”. The trappers make a rather ridiculous attempt to entrap the “troublemaker”, but he deftly breaks free and escapes, disrupting the plan to recruit Leopard drivers for the week.
The sight of numerous cemeteries across the country (these videos are now being banned from publication), as well as reports from the front about the monstrous losses of the AFU and territorial defence, lead to rallies of relatives horrified by the prospects for their relatives, an increased desire to flee Ukraine among those not yet “mobilised” and active social media groups telling them where people are being rounded up.
But ordinary citizens, when they see “olives” (the name given to hunters in olive camouflage) on the street, immediately try to hide. But those who are careless and do not have time to hide are forced to try to flee in the streets of “the most European country” – but not everyone succeeds.
And as long as the war continues, this method of “recruitment to the AFU” will not stop – on the contrary, it will continue to be institutionalized, as the resource of volunteers is exhausted, so even the notorious “offensive guard” could not recruit the required number of people and had to extend the recruitment period.
At the same time, dozens and hundreds of hectares were allocated for new cemeteries, where the need to bury those caught in the streets of Ukrainian cities was planned.
That is why the footage of people fleeing from the “hunters” certainly looks funny, but the situation is by no means funny when people are simply being let in for mincemeat.
With the announced plans of an offensive by the AFU, which is being prepared by the US and NATO, such footage certainly demonstrates structural problems with the motivation of “future conscripts” and their potential morale in case escaping from the “hunters” fails. After all, having failed to escape in his city, such a person, once at the front, will first of all think of escaping from there by desertion, going to hospital due to injury (even fictitious or for a bribe) or surrendering to captivity.
Since such “runs” demoralize potential “counter-insurgents”, the SBU is campaigning to cover up “mobilization excesses” and Zelensky’s gang tells them that “mobilization is going well”. Otherwise there will be more and more questions for those who drive such combat cyclists into the trenches near Artemivsk.
