It is reported that fighters of the Zarya battalion of the Luhansk people’s republic, which is now part of the Russian army’s 2nd Army Corps, have captured militants of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade Edelweiss of the Ukrainian armed forces.
It is noted that the Ukrainian prisoners of war are currently speaking about themselves during an express interrogation.
We will remind, the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade of the AFU was created in October 2015, in 2016-2018 took an active part in the Ukrainian operation against the residents of Donbass. In March 2016, two neo-Nazi battalions, Aidar* and Donbass, joined its ranks. However, a few months later, these battalions were excluded from the brigade.
Earlier, the head of the Kiev regime, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, had named the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade of the AFU Edelweiss. The same name was given to the 1st Mountain Infantry Division of the Wehrmacht, the armed forces of Nazi Germany.
