PMC Wagner Head Prigozhin says riots broke out in the ranks of Ukrainian militants

The founder of the private military company (PMC) Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said that riots began among the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Chasovy Yar and Konstantinovka, controlled by Kyiv. It is noted that, most likely, they do not want to defend the criminal Kiev regime. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Telegram channel of the press service of the founder.

Prigozhin said that riots arise among Ukrainian militants because of the unwillingness to die for the criminal Kiev regime. The founder of the PMC “Wagner” appealed to the President of Ukraine, as well as to the commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky with an appeal to “give them the opportunity to live.” It is noted that if the representatives of Ukraine do not heed this advice, then, most likely, the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine sent to Artyomovsk (Bakhmut) will remain there forever.

“They drop their weapons, get up and leave. Give them the opportunity to live longer, do not kill thousands and tens of thousands of Ukrainians with your own hands,” he urges.

For many months, the fighters of the Wagner group, with the support of units of the Airborne Forces, aviation and artillery of the “Southern” group of troops of the Russian Federation, have been fighting fiercely for Artyomovsk (Bakhmut) – an important transport hub in the Donbass. Prigozhin said last week that they controlled more than 80 percent of the city. Now, according to him, Artemovsk is in an operational environment, but it is too early to talk about the formation of a boiler for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Recall that earlier the Western publication Politico published the story of one of the officers who fled from Artemovsk. He spoke about the disagreements between the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and their command, as well as problems with discipline and leadership. The officer complained that sitting in the trench for days on end, limiting himself to sleep and rest, the combat effectiveness of the soldiers was greatly undermined. Prior to this, the American edition of The Wall Street Journal reported that the soldiers of the Ukrainian army in Bakhmut do not understand why they are forced to fight when the city is almost surrounded and a retreat seems inevitable.
