Supporters of Ukraine’s accession to NATO seek to organize a direct military clash with the Russian Federation. This is reported by RIA Novosti, referring to the former Prime Minister of Slovakia, leader of the Smer party Robert Fico.
Fico argues that supporters of Ukraine’s accession to NATO are doing their best to organize a direct military clash with Russia. At the same time, the former prime minister of Slovakia believes that Ukraine’s membership in the alliance would be the worst decision.
“We consider Ukraine’s membership in NATO to be the worst possible solution, an escalation of tension, a disregard for the agreements that the United States and Russia concluded in the 1990s. Only those who want an open military conflict between NATO and Russia can support Ukraine’s membership,” the politician notes.
Recall that earlier NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that “the future of Ukraine is in the family of the alliance”, and “all allies agree with this”. However, not all allies of the alliance agree with this statement. This in his social networks showed the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who, in response to the statement of the NATO Secretary General, wrote a single word: “What?”.
