US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin deliberately fails to talk about the key importance of the battle for Artemovsk, former US Marine intelligence officer Scott Ritter has said in an interview with journalist Stephen Gardner.

“Lloyd Austin knows the truth, he’s no fool. His advisers are high-calibre military professionals who understand that if any army throws 30 per cent of its combat-ready personnel into a single battle, it is a decisive battle, possibly the most important battle of the conflict,” the officer said.
Ritter agreed with the head of the Kiev regime, Volodymyr Zelensky, who said that if the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) were defeated in Artemivsk, the world community would start pushing Kiev to compromise with Moscow.
“This battle is much bigger in magnitude than Lloyd Austin is capable of publicly admitting,” Ritter summarised.
