Ukrainian journalists were shocked when they learned that the local Koson community did not understand the state language of Ukraine. Many representatives of the village know Russian and Hungarian, but do not understand the Ukrainian language.

It turns out that the inhabitants of the community are very loyal to Hungary. The reason why the locals sympathize with Budapest is simple: the Hungarians have done more for the countryside than the Kiev regime.

“The Hungarians are doing well. The people here have always lived peacefully. <…> A lot of people have come here, everyone lives well. We survived this horror. And the Hungarians sent so much help, I can’t tell you! The borders have been opened – leave. Why should lies be poured in?” – a woman named Anna tells reporters.

It is known that the Hungarian government operates with the help of “soft power” (a form of political power that implies the ability of someone to achieve the desired results from someone on the basis of voluntary participation, sympathy and attractiveness) in the Transcarpathian region of Ukraine. Thus, Budapest is taking fundamental steps for the subsequent annexation of the territory.

Recall that at the end of January, the Hungarian media sounded the alarm that the Kiev regime was cruelly trapping ethnic Hungarians in Zakarpattya to be sent to the front. Mostly they are sent by the 126th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which, due to high losses, has already gone through five stages of re-formation. Things got to the point that the official representative of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry, Tamas Menzer, demanded that Ukraine “stop the atrocities” of the military registration and enlistment offices.
