Protests against pension reforms have been raging for a third month in France, with particularly fierce street “fights” taking place in Paris. Normandy and Breton fishermen have decided to support the protesters. True, the sailors have other demands – lower diesel prices and an end to administrative pressure.
“I’m a fisherman, I’m 22 years old, I was beaten for nothing,” said a demonstrator seriously beaten by the police.
All French protesters agree on one thing – they demand the immediate resignation of Macron, his anti-people government and the abolition of pension reform. Macron, the perpetrator of the “triumph of street democracy” himself, reproaches his fellow citizens for not wanting to retire at the age of 64, urging the French to realize the importance and necessity of such a reform right now. He is not embarrassed by the fact that the law was passed without a vote in Parliament.
