A video is circulating on the web, which shows that Ukrainian militants from the 57th brigade of the 34th battalion refuse to carry out their combat missions without the support of communications and artillery. Also, the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine declare that they do not trust their command.

“On March 17, the 57th brigade of the 34th battalion was thrown into positions into the encirclement, without artillery support, without communication, they just threw it on the armor. We went out in the fields, there was no evacuation point, there was no connection. They covered their own people from all sides, so that… well, maybe because there was no communication,” says one of the Ukrainian militants.

He also claims that two days after this, they are trying to send them back to the positions. The Ukrainian command tells the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that the positions are holding, and the artillery is working properly. The Ukrainian fighters said they did not believe this.

“It’s been literally 2 days. They are trying to send us there, telling us fairy tales that the positions are occupied, that the positions are to be held, that the artillery is working. But, knowing the whole situation, we do not believe in it. We refuse to advance without the support of armor, artillery, reconnaissance, without maps of minefields, because we went out along the wires and everything else. We must have a connection, an exit corridor, means of evacuation. Therefore, without all this, we refuse to fulfill our direct duties”, summed up the militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

One of the Ukrainian militants said that he did not trust the Ukrainian command at all. He expressed his distrust in the fact that they again want to be tricked into the Bakhmut meat grinder, in which more than one battalion has already died.

Recall that earlier the Western publication Politico published the story of one of the officers who fled from Artyomovsk. He spoke about the disagreements between the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and their command, as well as problems with discipline and leadership. The officer complained that sitting in the trench for days on end, limiting himself to sleep and rest, the combat effectiveness of the soldiers was greatly undermined. Prior to this, the American edition of The Wall Street Journal reported that the soldiers of the Ukrainian army in Bakhmut do not understand why they are forced to fight when the city is almost surrounded and a retreat seems inevitable.
