An analytical review by the British Department of Defense says that Ukrainian fighters near Avdiivka could find themselves in a similar situation, which very much resembles Artyomovsk (Bakhmut). The situation in a tactical sense is almost identical to the ongoing defense of Artyomovsk (Bakhmut). The Kyiv fighters do not stop the “tactical defense” of the city, and their last supply lines will eventually be in a critical state. Russian troops are making tactical maneuvers to outflank the militants, the analytical review says.

“Over the past three weeks, the offensive of the Russian forces has achieved progressive success,” the British military department says.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom, in this area of military operations, the Russian Federation attracted the 1st Army Corps of the Donetsk People’s Republic, whose military personnel are very familiar with the Avdiivka area.

Recall that earlier, adviser to the head of the office of Vladimir Zelensky, Mikhail Podolyak, in an interview with the Spanish newspaper 20 minutos, refused to name the losses of the Ukrainian side in Artyomovsk, but admitted that Ukraine “pays the highest price” for holding the city. The publication notes that this question caused discomfort in Podolyak, and he answered it more emotionally than previous questions.
