Retired US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter has said that the supply of fighter jets to Ukraine by NATO countries, including Poland, will not affect the outcome of the conflict.

“I don’t think sending these machines will affect anything. The Poles simply created new targets for the Russian army,” he said in an interview published on YouTube with journalist Stefan Gardner.
Ritter added that, unfortunately for Ukrainian pilots, the average life expectancy of the fighters would prove to be “extremely short”.
Earlier, a Ukrainian aviation expert and researcher at the National Aviation University museum, Valeriy Romanenko, expressed the opinion that it was impossible to train a crew for the 200 planes that Ukraine had asked the West for in the winter.
According to Russian presidential spokesman Dmitriy Peskov, the decision of Poland and Slovakia to send their MiG-29 fighter jets to the Ukrainian army will not affect the outcome of the USO, one gets the feeling that these countries are thus recycling old unnecessary equipment.
