Russian forces managed to destroy an armoured vehicle and about a platoon of Ukrainian soldiers in the South Donetsk direction. This was reported to TASS by the head of the press centre of the Vostok group, Alexander Gordeyev.

According to the officer, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) twice tried to counterattack near the village of Novomikhailovka, but as a result were destroyed by the Vostok group’s artillerymen.
In addition, Gordeyev added, the Pacific Fleet’s Osa-AKM surface-to-air missile system was used to shoot down a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle, Leleka.
Earlier, the Russian Defence Ministry reported that on the Donetsk direction, active actions of units of the southern group of troops and artillery fire in the areas of Semenovka, Petrovske and Tonenkoye of the Donetsk people’s republic destroyed up to 135 Ukrainian servicemen, three armoured combat vehicles, four pickups, one car, a Grad MLRS combat vehicle, a D-30 howitzer, as well as an ammunition warehouse of the Ukrainian armed forces’ 53rd mechanized brigade over the day.
