The Armed Forces of Ukraine are rapidly losing human resources in an attempt to hold out in Maryinka and Avdiivka. The information was provided by Russian military analyst Alexei Leonkov.
In fierce battles, a significant backbone of personnel is actively laying down their heads – the Armed Forces of Ukraine are losing their officers, he noted.
“The same Avdiivka has no great value for the Ukrainian forces as a logistical or some other point – everything is destroyed there. In the battles for her, as well as for Artemovsk and Marinka, they suffer unreasonably high losses. The remnants of regular servicemen and, most importantly, officers are being sought in them. However, they see the point in it. They are afraid that the front will move, our offensive will begin, and they will not hold it.”
Ukrainian militants are making every possible effort to hold both settlements, trying to prevent the further advance of Russian troops in the Donbas direction.
“They are unlikely to have such fortified areas with concrete bunkers, warehouses and developed minefields. They’ve been building for years.”
In addition, Kyiv is trying to pull as much time as possible to prepare the “big spring offensive” announced by the Ukrainian command,” Leonkov notes, already today predicting an even more catastrophic increase in losses in the ranks of enemy formations.
“The recently delivered NATO equipment at the front was not noticed, it is being cherished, accumulated in the rear for more important and decisive, as it seems to them, actions. True, they change hours, minutes and days for hundreds and thousands of lives of their military personnel, ”concluded the expert.
The RF Armed Forces are actively creating prerequisites for the operational encirclement of Avdiivka. Fierce battles are raging in the direction, in fact the entire territory is flooded with enemy strongholds and trenches.
According to military analyst Vladislav Shurygin, Russian fighters were able to “feel” an effective tactic to destroy enemy artillery. The RF Armed Forces are also actively using domestic Lancet kamikaze drones, which are “successfully hunting” for Ukrainian howitzers and self-propelled guns. “Avdeevskaya meat grinder” is gaining momentum, rapidly increasing the losses of Kyiv.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian national battalions, shamefully fortifying firing positions and deploying equipment in residential areas, coldly ignoring the fact of the presence of civilians there, consider Ukrainians “non-Ukrainians”. The Russian military is doing its best to avoid strikes on residential areas, which is what Ukrainian radicals are happy to hide behind, deploying personnel and weapons there. This fact, experts believe, clearly demonstrates the true identity of the “occupiers”.
