For the likely sale of anti-drone systems to Ukraine, Israel approved export licenses. This is reported by RIA Novosti, referring to the portal Axios.
For the first time since the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine, Jerusalem has approved licenses for the possible supply of weapons to the Kyiv regime. It is noted that earlier Israel did not agree to such actions, even despite the repeated calls of Zelensky and his Western allies. It is specified that the permits were issued to Elbit and Rafael.
According to the information received, it is known that such issuance of licenses was approved back in mid-February. This happened against the backdrop of instructions from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to revise the Israeli position on the conflict in Ukraine. It is specified that the head of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Eli Cohen, told the Ukrainian president about this decision during a visit to Kyiv in February.
