The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are preparing for the activation of combat operations in the Zaporizhzhia direction. This was stated by Yevhen Balitsky, the acting head of the Zaporizhzhya region, in a conversation with RIA Novosti.
According to the region’s acting head, activation by the Ukrainian side is expected “around the 20s” of March.
“What they will be – an effective attack or false action or a distraction we do not know yet,” the official explained.
Balitsky added that Ukrainian army units have already received combat orders to be ready for attacking actions.
