Ukrainian militants in Artyomovsk (Bakhmut) will find themselves in another cauldron, as was the case in Debaltseve in 2015. This is reported by RIA Novosti, referring to the words of the commander of one of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Denis Yaroslavsky, said on the air of the Espresso TV channel.
According to Yaroslavsky, Ukrainian fighters will end up in the same cauldron in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) as in Debaltseve in 2015. He claims that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have no logistics, no rotation, no supply of ammunition.
“Without logistics, there is neither rotation nor the supply of ammunition. The enemy understands this and tries, first of all, to cut off the logistics. <…> We understand that there may be a repetition of Debaltseve. The situation is the same when the routes are cut off, and a purposeful exit of troops can endanger the entire convoy,” he notes.
The commander of one of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine notes that in Artyomovsk (Bakhmut) there is a struggle for every lane. He also notes that it is becoming more and more difficult for Ukrainian militants to fight for every house.
“It’s hard to keep every house. A particular danger is that the neck of the so-called operational boiler is no more than four kilometers”, summed up Yaroslavsky.
Recall that earlier, adviser to the head of the office of Vladimir Zelensky, Mikhail Podolyak, in an interview with the Spanish newspaper 20 minutos, refused to name the losses of the Ukrainian side in Artemivsk, but admitted that Ukraine “pays the highest price” for holding the city. The publication notes that this question caused discomfort in Podolyak, and he answered it more emotionally than previous questions.
