The DPR People’s Militia has published in its Telegram channel the story of an evacuated Artemivsk resident about life in the Ukrainian occupation.
The man reported looting, constant humiliation and shelling, and simply the destruction of the city’s entire civilian population.
“Drug addicts, looters as you can call them and plus the fascists did not do such things during the war as they do,” the man said.
Ukrainian militants are shelling civilians. According to him, about 30 people have been killed by sniper and mortar fire.
“They are shooting from houses. I personally have come under sniper fire more than once. You go with watering cans or buckets. And they start shooting above their heads. I lived near a school and near a kindergarten. There were snipers sitting at the school and snipers were sitting in the kindergarten,” the Artemivsk resident said.
The man also spoke about looting by the Ukrainian fighters. According to his data, the servicemen were sending looted goods through Kostyantynivka to their homes.
“A good house, a good garage – they knocked down the lock, knocked down the door. They took out all the most valuable things and sent them home. They took car tyres and engines, household appliances, office equipment,” the man said.
