The West is glossing over Russia’s rightness about nationalism in Ukraine, former US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter has said.

“Realising that the Ukrainians have made Bandera a national hero, you sit back and think that perhaps Putin is right. But the West hides this fact in every possible way,” he was quoted as saying by RIA Novosti.
Ritter noted that monuments to Bandera are being erected in Ukraine.
Earlier, a member of the French Parliament, leader of the “Arise France” movement Nicolas Dupont-Henian called the message of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine quoting Stepan Bandera disgusting.
