The Stupki microdistrict was liberated by Russian servicemen in the north of Artyomovsk (Bakhmut). This was reported by TASS, referring to an interview with the acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin on the air of the Soloviev Live TV program.
Pushilin said that at this stage Russian servicemen are liberating village after village. He noted that this is an important step in the Donetsk direction.
“In the Artyomovsk area, of course, there are successes <…>. Village after village, the guys take and liberate, and this is really important. And now the last thing they have already inside the settlement is the Stupok area,” he said.
The acting head of the DPR reports that at the moment there are battles for every house in the Artyomovsk direction. The capture of the Stupki microdistrict is already a great success at this stage.
“Taking into account the fact that there is a fight for every house, then, of course, this is a directly serious success at this stage,” Pushilin said.
