Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said that Budapest calls for a comprehensive investigation into the sabotage that occurred on the Nord Stream gas pipelines. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

Siyayrto called what happened at Nord Stream scandalous and called for the attack on gas pipelines to be regarded as a terrorist act. He stressed that this is the first time such a large object has been attacked.

“And such an attack, in principle, should be considered as a terrorist act. And we support a comprehensive, deep, structured and detailed investigation into what happened,” the minister urged.

Szijjarto noted that regardless of the initiator of the investigation, Hungary will support any type of proceedings that will help to understand “who did it and why.”
