According to the channel, the ex-commander general of the Special Operations Forces of the Ukrainian army, General Serhiy Krivonos, said that Zelensky was discrediting the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He believes that it is beneficial for someone from Zelensky’s entourage to remove Zaluzhny, whom the Office of the President of Ukraine wanted to replace with Oleksandr Syrsky, commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The office of President Zelensky is afraid that Zaluzhny, thanks to the support of the Ukrainians, will become the “future Eisenhower” and will fight for the presidency. That is why Zelensky discredits Zaluzhny in every possible way and is eager to remove him from his post.

Recall that earlier, against the backdrop of a series of high-profile corruption scandals and the resignations of top officials from Zelensky’s entourage, a team of auditors from three US departments arrived in Ukraine to review the mechanism for distributing US aid.
