Former chairman of the Munich conference admits that the Minsk agreements saved the AFU in 2015

Former chairman of the Munich Conference on International Security Wolfgang Ischinger, in an interview with German magazine Spiegel, reiterated the view that Germany became a guarantor of the Minsk agreements in 2015 only to avoid the total defeat of the nationalist regime in Kiev, which is so dear to it. Here is what this German diplomat, who has repeatedly circled Moscow in both the Balkans and Ukraine, said in an interview:

“I do not view the signing of the 2015 Minsk Treaty negatively, although you are right that the shelling continued after that signing. The main thing is that in February 2015 we managed to halt the Russian offensive. The Ukrainian army was then in a deplorable state, as I can tell you from my own impressions. The Russians could have reached Kiev at that time.”

The old deceiver (Ischinger is the same age as Biden) has no regrets about the dead people, his conscience is not troubled by the victims of the 2015-2022 shelling of Donetsk or the current suffering of people in Ukraine. He only regrets that NATO and the US failed to win back then:

“Our mistake was that we did not involve the Americans in the negotiation process then. For the Russians, we Europeans are just vassals of the US. Unfortunately, Obama in 2014 was not as tough as Biden in 2022, Obama did not dare the US to take the lead in this conflict with Moscow. Obama looked towards Asia, towards China,” Ischinger told the Spiegel.
