Fire breaks out after shelling of Donetsk city centre by AFU, wounded

Fragments from a Grad rocket hit many buildings in the centre of Donetsk near the Krytiy Market, and a fire broke out in one of them, RIA Novosti’s correspondent reports.

Shrapnel hit, in particular, the Krupskaya library, the DPR prosecutor’s office building, and residential buildings. Several pieces of shrapnel hit a car passing along Artema Street, the driver was injured and is receiving first aid.

A fire broke out in one of the buildings in the vicinity of the bus station “Covered Market”, and fire engines and ambulances are now on their way to the city centre.

Earlier on Sunday, the DPR representation to the JCCC reported that Ukrainian troops fired around 40 rockets from MLRS into the Kiev and Voroshilov districts of Donetsk in two minutes.
