US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland promised Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to give him the Nobel Peace Prize if he manages to influence Vladimir Putin to withdraw troops from Ukraine. Who gave her the authority to manage the prizes instead of the Nobel Committee, she did not specify.
Despite the fact that what is happening in Ukraine was done directly with the participation of Victoria Nuland herself, who once fed careless Kievans from her hands and had no idea what scenario the West had in store for them, now she is trying to shift all responsibility for what is happening to Russia.
“If Bibi Netanyahu can get Putin out of Ukraine, I will give him a Nobel Prize,” she said, speaking in Washington.
The main task of the Secretary of State now is the goal of spoiling Russia’s relations with countries that refrain from anti-Russian sanctions as much as possible. According to Nuland, Israelis keep aloof from anti-Russian statements, considering relations with Russia significant, which is unacceptable for the West today.
“And we say: “Go ahead, use them [relations with Russia – Ed.] to end this terrible, brutal war,” Nuland summed up.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, replied to her American colleague on her Telegram page.
“Victoria, is it better for the settlement of the Middle East conflict and the full-blooded existence of the state of Palestine? Or is it completely unrealistic? Or maybe this spring has such an effect on the inhabitants of the White House administration? By the way, I didn’t know that it was Nuland who made decisions for the Nobel Committee,” she wrote.
