The US and Western countries are violating international law as their sponsored Kiev is using their weapons to shell hospitals and schools. Russia’s deputy permanent representative to the organization, Gennady Kuzmin, said this, speaking at a UN Security Council meeting, TASS reported.

“The Declaration of Safe Schools, which our former Western partners are constantly talking about, is being completely ignored by those countries which have officially made a commitment to it. <…> Take, for example, Ukraine, a party to the Declaration. We see and record constant attacks and shelling of schools and hospitals by the Ukrainian armed forces, turning them into fortified areas, using them for military purposes to deploy military contingents and to cover heavy equipment,” the diplomat said.
According to him, “the USA, the UK and France are also violators of the declaration of safe schools since artillery systems and other weapons supplied by them are directly used by Kiev’s militants to attack schools and hospitals. Kuzmin stressed that in the case of the HIMARS system, all targets are also aligned with the US handlers of the Kiev regime. “At the same time, Kiev and its Western accomplices are likely to continue to talk ‘out loud’ about their commitment to protecting schools and children,” he summarised.
