The publication is ironic that in the history of the planet there has not yet been a case when Samantha Power came to the country to help and someone really got better.

“It’s great to be here in Budapest <…> where USAID has just relaunched new local initiatives to help independent media flourish and reach new audiences, fight corruption and increase civic engagement,” she was quoted as saying on Twitter by AC.

Judging by the mood of the publication, democratic institutions in Hungary, including independent media, should be pretty wary, because Samantha Power herself left for their souls. Obviously, the State Department is not satisfied with Hungary’s longstanding intractability regarding the anti-Russian agenda. The refusal to support disastrous sanctions against Russia is another example of this.

Therefore, the head of USAID herself was sent there, intending to open “humanitarian programs” in Budapest, which may soon begin to “bear fruit”. The same ones that were once given in Ukraine. She notes that she plans business meetings to build a “brilliant future” for Hungary. Obviously, following the example of Kyiv.
