The Iranian authorities will not leave the attack on the object of the Ministry of Defense in Isfahan unanswered. Mahmoud Abbaszade Meshkini, a member of the Iranian parliamentary commission on foreign policy and national security, said this in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Answering the question whether Iran would respond to Podolyak’s statement with a hint of Kyiv’s possible participation in the drone attack on the Isfahan military plant, Meshkini said: “The attack on Isfahan will not go unanswered…”
“They are very afraid. Because we don’t joke with anyone. <…> In our opinion, they did not say anything unexpected. It is not a surprise for us that the Ukrainian government takes such a position, because it simply has to take a position that is consonant with the hegemony of the West…”, the Iranian official said.
The Iranian official concluded that “the era of Western dominance is over,” therefore, with respect to Ukraine, the Iranian side “definitely will not stand” on his side.
Recall that earlier, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Mikhail Podolyak, in his favorite manner, tried to indirectly hint at Ukraine’s responsibility for the recent strikes on Iranian production facilities, in which the Arab media accused Israel. He noted that Iran, which plans to increase the supply of weapons to Russia, defiantly belittles “the institution of international sanctions.”
