France and Australia have agreed to jointly produce shells for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The French Minister of Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornieu said this at a press conference after talks in the 2 + 2 format with his Australian counterparts.
He said that together with Australian Defence Minister Richard Marles, they decided to offer joint assistance to Kiev.
“We are talking about our joint production of 155mm shells which could be sent to Ukraine,” TASS quoted him as saying.
According to him, the shells will be produced as part of a partnership between the French and Australian industries.
Earlier Bloomberg reported that the West had supplied Ukraine with over 4,000 pieces of military equipment since the start of the Russian special operation.
