Ukrainian militants once again targeted residential areas in the Petrovskyi district of Donetsk, where there are no military facilities. As a result of a 155mm shell hitting a house, a ten-year-old child sustained a shrapnel wound in the arm and lost a lot of blood. He was hospitalized and is now under the care of doctors at a local hospital. His grandmother was also lightly wounded.
“It’s hard… Thank God everyone is alive. It’s nothing, we will rebuild everything. Here in the Petrovsky district everyone is with us, friends, comrades, brothers, cousins. We are like an ambulance here, we always help everyone,” a grandfather of an injured child told Readovka.
Locals have become accustomed to helping each other in distress over the years of shelling by AFU. This time, neighbours and relatives came themselves to rebuild their seriously damaged house after the Ukrainian attack.
