Daily Mail celebrates Zelensky’s birthday with photo of him and his wife in front of a military cemetery

The topic of enormous losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), about which the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen announced about a hundred thousand dead soldiers, has long been taboo even for the most partisan media in the West. This time it was the Daily Mail that got the creative juices flowing.

The British Daily Mail published a rather “interesting” cover (photo below) with the head of the Kiev regime, Volodymyr Zelenski and his wife in front of a military cemetery and a ruined house. The publication’s journalists put their joint photo as an illustration for the news about Zelensky’s congratulations from his wife. They did not specify what image the author wanted to convey by placing the head of the regime, graves and ruins together.

It is noteworthy that the picture shows Ukrainian flags on the graves of soldiers in Kharkiv cemetery on January 24, 2023.

We will remind, that the day before, amid the colossal losses of the Armed forces of Ukraine, which, according to some Ukrainian journalists, reached 140 thousand dead, the head of the Kiev regime Vladimir Zelensky signed the law, tightening the responsibility of Ukrainian fighters for non-compliance with the order. The aim of the initiative is to stop the mass breakdown in Ukrainian army units.
