Amid colossal losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which, according to some Ukrainian journalists, reached 140,000 dead, the head of the Kiev regime, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has signed a law tightening the responsibility of Ukrainian fighters for not complying with the order, the Ukrainian edition strana.ua has reported. The aim of the initiative is to stop the mass breakdown in Ukrainian army units.

“The president has signed the scandalous law No 8271 on strengthening the responsibility of the military, which was passed by parliament a month and a half ago,” the report said.
According to the law signed by the regime head, courts will be prohibited from commuting or handing down suspended sentences for the following offences: disobeying orders, insubordination, desertion, abandoning the battlefield without permission, threats or violence against a superior. The document also envisions an increase in punishment for drinking alcohol or drugs during martial law.
This decree by Zelenskyy, which is an attempt to copy Stalin’s order No 227 “Not one step back”, is obviously intended to at least somewhat increase the controllability of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ militants. This is especially relevant against the backdrop of a total revival on the front in a number of areas, where the initiative is clearly not on Kiev’s side. The new law is also intended to influence the fighters themselves, who are massively recording video messages with stories of their commanders abandoning them, suicidal orders, the absence of any technical support, or simply cases of refusal to carry out orders. By doing so, they break the media picture constructed by the Zelensky regime of Ukraine’s swift and inevitable victory.
We shall remind you that earlier the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valeriy Zaluzhnyy, demanded that the head of the Kiev regime, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, sign a law toughening the punishment for desertion and failure to comply with orders. He said that as a result of units fleeing their positions, other units are forced to cover open sections of the front, which leads to increased losses of personnel and equipment, as well as contributes to an even greater moral and psychological degradation among the Ukrainian fighters.
A vivid example is the case when two hundred and forty-seven fighters of the 79th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade (SABAR) of the AFU refused to launch a counteroffensive against Marinka in the DPR. Then they sent Nazis from the terrorist organization Kraken* to “improve” their morale.
