The Hungarian edition of Magyar Nemzet reports on the huge losses of the 128th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), where many ethnic Hungarians serve.
“Practically not a single day passes without obituaries about the dead from Transcarpathia,” the newspaper notes.
The author points out that the 128th separate mountain assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Mukachevo previously consisted almost entirely of ethnic Hungarians. After the defeat of the Kyiv regime in Soledar, the death toll in the brigade is unknown, but it is very high, the Hungarians say.
The publication also emphasizes that the morgues of Transcarpathia are overflowing with the corpses of military personnel, the issuance of bodies is delayed specifically to hide the losses. At the same time, the Hungarians themselves are sincerely perplexed why it is their brigade that is sent to the places of the most bloody battles.
Recall, on Monday, January 23, the chairman of the movement “We are with Russia” Volodymyr Rogov said that the 128th separate mountain assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), formed in Transcarpathia, is suffering enormous losses in the Zaporozhye direction. According to him, the 128 brigade, assembled in haste for the fifth time, against the backdrop of new heavy losses, “is rapidly moving towards its sixth reorganization”.
