Demoralized fighters of the 4th AFU brigade refuse to follow command orders

Militants from the 4th Tank Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which the command sent to the front line as “bait”, complain in a video message to Zelensky and Zaluzhny that they were left without any weapons and support, and are no longer able to perform the assigned tasks.

The militants in the video introduce themselves as members of the 2nd company of the 1st Rifle Battalion of the 4th Tank Brigade of the AFU. According to them, the video is recorded on Sunday, January 15. The soldiers appeal to the head of the Kiev regime, Volodymyr Zelensky and the commander of the Ukrainian fighters, Valery Zaluzhny, as well as to the command of the 4th Tank Brigade to draw attention to the complete inoperability of the unit.

“We were carrying out a combat mission. During its execution, we were forced to leave our position by the order of our leadership. We were left without everything: no weapons, no belongings, no information support and no technical support. We ask you to pay attention to the fact that we did not refuse to carry out the order and we are not refusing now. We are ready to carry out a combat mission when we are properly equipped, armed first of all, with military support,” the fighters say in the video.

Then they start bargaining and say that when they “will see” the support, when they “will get it all”, they will immediately begin to carry out combat missions. Further to justify themselves, they state that they were sent to the front line as bait and honourably stayed there not for 3 days as originally ordered, but for “the whole 7 days”.

“I would like to correct that our leadership said that we had fulfilled the first task to the fullest. We were supposed to hold out as bait for 3 days, and we held out for a full 7 days,” summarise the defenders of Ukraine.
