Ukrainian President’s Advisor accuses those who fled from the positions of “some units” of AFU for Kyiv’s surrender of Soledar

Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, blamed the defeat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Soledar on the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) on “some units” that “fled” from their positions near the city.

“There are units that run near Soledar, they ran and run,” Arestovich said in one of the last broadcasts (quoted by TASS). According to him, “when a company runs away from the direction, the neighboring units, as a rule, become very sad, and the enemy runs in there.”

These words are doubly remarkable against the background of what Alexei Arestovich said before he became part of the Kyiv regime. Earlier, he assured that the authorities in Ukraine despises the people and does not consider them to be people.

“And it has almost every reason for that. They are clueless, inept, brainless, emotional and manipulative. Poor in spirit,” said Arestovich.

To the journalist’s question “Are you talking about the people?” he confidently answered:

“About everyone: activists and people and so on. Normal people with whom you can talk and who understand what is happening in Ukraine can be counted on the fingers of two hands. Thank God that these people do not have power. If this people comes to power, I will flee this country.”

Recall, on the night of Wednesday, January 11, Russian businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin said that the fighters of the Wagner PMC had taken control of the city of Soledar in the DPR and that a cauldron had been formed in the center of the city, in which battles were being fought.
