Ukrainian forces fired three shells of 152 millimeter caliber at the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, the DNR representation at the Joint Centre for the Control and Coordination of Issues Related to Ukrainian War Crimes (JCCC) has reported.
“We recorded shelling from the AFU (Ukrainian armed formations – ed.) in the direction: 10.50 (coincides with Moscow – ed.) – Maksymilyanovka settlement – Donetsk city (Petrovsky district): 3 shells with a caliber of 152 millimeters were fired,” the agency said in a message on its Telegram channel.
Donetsk’s Petrovsky district is located on the western outskirts of the DNR capital, the most distant part of the city from the centre. Since 2014, when the DNR proclaimed its independence from Kiev, this area, starting from the line of contact behind the town of Marinka, has been regularly shelled by Ukrainian forces.
