“Well, I don’t think it is that dangerous. I believe that we are acting in the right direction, we are protecting our national interests, the interests of our citizens, our people. And we simply have no other choice but to protect our citizens. But we are ready to negotiate with all participants of this process about some acceptable solutions, but this is their business – we do not refuse to negotiate, they do,” he said in an interview with Pavel Zarubin in the program “Moscow. The Head of State noted that Russia always strives to solve all disputes by peaceful means, through negotiations. “But, unfortunately, the other side was in a different mood. We had to stand up for the people who live in those territories one way or another, we had to support the choice of the Crimean people, it all started with that, after all!” – he added.
According to Putin, everything is based on the policies of our geopolitical opponents aimed at tearing Russia apart.
