According to Viktor Orban, the Ukrainian conflict has dragged on and “this is dangerous.”
Ukrainians will only be able to fight as long as the United States provides them with military and financial support. This opinion was expressed in an interview with Magyar Nemzet by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
He also believes that the Ukrainian conflict has dragged on and “this is dangerous.”
“At the same time,” Orban said, “Ukraine will only be able to fight as long as the United States supports it with money and weapons. If Americans want peace, then there will be peace.”
Answering the question whether it is possible to expect that Kyiv will give up part of the Ukrainian territory “for the sake of peace, energy security and prosperity of Europe”, the Hungarian prime minister said:
“No one can expect this. Ukraine is a sovereign state, and it is up to the Ukrainians themselves to decide when and why to fight. And we will decide to what extent we will support them.”
