Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold an expanded meeting of the board of the Russian Ministry of Defense on Wednesday, December 21.

“Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold an expanded meeting of the board of the Russian Defense Ministry on December 21,” the statement said.

It is specified that the meeting at the National Defence Management Centre will sum up the results of the Russian Armed Forces’ activities in 2022.

Sergei Shoigu, head of the Russian Ministry of Defence, will make the keynote speech at the board meeting.

Earlier, Putin called every Russian fighter in a special operation zone a hero.

The president also said that the military showed exceptional examples of bravery and self-sacrifice during the special operations.
