Hungary, Germany and seven other EU countries have spoken out against the introduction of a price ceiling for Russian gas, said Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó.
“Nine countries, including us, were against the price cap, but since a supermajority is needed, this supermajority, although nine countries were against it, has accumulated,” Szijjártó said.
Szijjarto stressed that Hungary would in any case be against the ceiling on gas prices from the Russian Federation.
