A Ukrainian military officer has shot and killed two civilians in Artemivsk, RIA Novosti has reported, citing a video from local residents.

The video was reportedly shot sometime in late November. The location is Artemivsk. The author of the video claims that he himself is also from Artemivsk, but was able to evacuate the city. According to the video’s description, the conflict between local residents and the Ukrainian military occurred because people refused to provide the latter with accommodation.
“That’s how we have <…> defenders. They surrendered some village in the suburbs, rolled back. It was still several kilometres from us to the front, but they decided to station troops here. They started going door-to-door, saying that we are all so important here, the glorious 93rd Brigade…” The agency reports. – The agency reports.
According to the author of the video, the demand for housing was turned down by several local residents.
“On the second day, the bastards showed up at the neighbours’ place and that’s what they did. Apparently they got permission from the commanders and made a mess of it as edification. <…> I knew them, they were good people, and that’s it. <…> in short, by evening the street was cleared for them. That’s how it is,” the author of the video said.
